Midi Poly Grid serves as a lightweight MIDI controller designed for smartphones and tablets, facilitating melody creation and finger drumming both at home and on the move. It allows virtual connections to other applications through platform MIDI channels or USB links to external devices.

This application aims to be an intuitive pad input device, offering various layouts and modern modulation capabilities, including MPE and Polyphonic Aftertouch. It caters specifically to users who prefer pad controls over traditional piano layouts. Rather than attempting to fulfil every MIDI function, this application excels in delivering a focused experience centered on versatile pad controls.

iOS Specific Information

The app can be used with any Mac via USB or WiFi. PC usage is limited to WiFi through third-party software (rtpMidi) and USB via third-party USB MIDI connectors, due to Apple's restricted implementation of USB MIDI on iOS.

Please note that AUv3 support is currently unavailable due to technical limitations with Flutter. More information can be found here.
